kaffa.
from waste to biobased design. the kaffa collection is an ongoing exploration about cradle to cradle design. starting from organic waste streams and ending in organic waste streams.
kaffa looks at the potential of coffee grounds and investigates the meaning of coffee in our society. coffee is meant to connect and reconnect people.
the kaffa material has strong visual attractiveness for its raw and dark aesthetic, that its design is as pure and as minimal as possible.
inspired by brutalist architecture, the kaffa objects explore the basics of shapes and connection.
