ABOUT

 

Marijke Jans  is a Belgian artist/designer. She graduated from Thomas More interior design academy in Mechelen in 2022. 
Her practice is diverse but consistent and focuses mostly on biodesign and biobased design.
 
Passionate by raw and biobased materials, her focus lies on process, research and experiment.
The objects are balanced between functional and sculptural, a balance between story and experiment. Resulting in design with a distinctive materiality and aesthetic.
